Swinging Abstraction Tee
Part of our Canvas to Reality Series, Tango Hotel partnered with Wassily Kandinsky to release a limited capsule.
Yellow-Red-Blue was painted by Wassily Kandinsky in 1925 featuring his well-known shapes and forms. The painting’s characteristics, the geometrical elements, and rich colors reflect much of Kandinsky’s teachings and other paintings. The left side of the painting has more geometric shapes with bright colors, whereas the right side is more abstract with darker colors. The two sides are influenced by different emotions that are brought together to provoke deep thought in the viewer.
The abstract tee, stencils out the artwork thru the wording "Birth of Abstraction," giving tribute to Kandinsky for founding this movement.
Part of the Canvas to Reality Series, Tango Hotel gives artists a new medium to express themselves and their creative talents. Artists range from pioneers of contemporary art, abstract, and surrealist art to artists of sound and motion. In addition to truly appreciated art, we look to the founders of movements and styles.
