The Bonaparte artwork is located in Paris, France. It was inspired by Jacques-Louis David’s Napolean Crossing the Alps. This has a comical and political turn with the red cape blowing over the rider referencing the leadership in the country is blind. It’s also a jab at the French law that was established in 2010 prohibiting covering the face in public which included religious coverings. There is some satire to that, with the hold world having face coverings in 2020/21.
