Al-Baseer Holly’s Man with a Vision Artwork | Canvas to Reality

MAN WITH A VISION ARTWORK BY AL-BASEER HOLLY

Founder and artist Al-Baseer Holly (ABH) paints Man with a Vision, drawing inspiration from his two greatest idols, Picasso and Basquiat.

The Man with a Vision artwork combines two great artists perfectly, Picasso and Basquiat. ABH emulates Picasso’s painting techniques and Basquiat’s characters. He uses Picasso’s technique of painting over and over again on the same canvas with different colors creating layers and dimension. ABH also includes Picasso in the painting wearing a Basquiat crown. Basquiat’s famous skull was mirrored while ABH included his own personal flair, the brain and number 3. The vibrant brain in skull has become one of ABH’s most well know art expressions in his paintings. The subject is a visual interpretation of the mind, to feel the most out of life while you still can. The number 3 has a significant meaning to artist ABH, the third all seeing eye and his birthday.

This artwork is special to Al-Baseer Holly. It reminds him to work harder than hard - to keep pushing, to keep thinking and to visually see more and bring more art into existence.

The Canvas to Reality series works with the artist who stands for the same ethos of Tango Hotel. Where the artist is free of expression, living their lives, loving what they do and doing what they love. Work is life and life is work.  Canvas to Reality provides artist another medium to express themselves. The hoodies, tees, and jackets feature and focus on the strokes and story the artist are telling.
